About the NAU ACDA Student Chapter
Based in Flagstaff, Arizona, the NAU (Northern Arizona University) Student Chapter of ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) has over 50 members of Choral Music Education majors. Every two weeks, we offer workshops and interest sessions by faculty and graduate students on topics such as repertoire selection, worship music, Orff-estration, working with a sound system, and the music of Hawaii, to name a few. Our student organization is advised by Dr. Ryan Holder, Associate Director of Choral Studies at Northern Arizona University.
Our chapter has hosted major events for choral music, such as the ACDA 2014 Western Division Student Symposium and the NAU Jazz/Madrigal Festival.
We are always fundraising to provide scholarships for our students to attend professional conferences at the state, regional, and national levels. Please visit the above tabs to learn about services we provide for donations!
